Position Summary The Golf Course Ranger (Marshal) plays a key role in ensuring an enjoyable experience for all guests by monitoring pace of play, enforcing course policies, and providing friendly, professional assistance to golfers throughout the facility. Requirements Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain pace of play across all 45 holes Enforce course rules, cart policies, and safety guidelines Provide outstanding customer service and respond to player questions or concerns Communicate effectively with the golf shop and starter staff regarding course flow Assist with first-tee organization and player movement as needed Address on-course issues calmly and professionally Report course conditions, safety concerns, or incidents to management Represent the facility in a positive and professional manner at all times Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle conflict diplomatically and professionally Knowledge of golf etiquette and rules preferred Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Weekends, holidays, and flexible scheduling required Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and drive a golf cart for extended periods Ability to navigate all areas of a large, busy golf facility
