Location: London, Ontario
Position Type: Full-time, 3-year renewable contract.
Hiring Range: $57,594 - $72,018.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Rankings and Accreditation Associate, plays a key role in developing, coordinating, and guiding institutional submissions related to global rankings, accreditation, and other major organizational reporting. These activities are central to Ivey’s external visibility, reputation, and accountability. This position independently manages timelines, interprets and provides guidance, collects and integrates complex data from across the School, deriving actionable insights, and ensuring submissions support strategic, data-informed decisions.
The associate builds strong relationships across Ivey’s departments to develop consistent, strategic contributions to rankings, accreditation bodies, and other external stakeholders. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise materials – both in complex narrative form and structured data - for both internal and external audiences. A strong understanding of the School’s structure, programs, and priorities is essential to leading this work.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree required. A Masters degree is an asset.
  • At least 2 years of experience coordinating complex projects or processes, preferably in an academic or data-informed environment. Experience in higher education, quality assurance, or academic administration is an asset.

  • Comfort working with data and conducting basic data analysis (e.g., using Excel or PowerBI).

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar platforms is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Rankings
  • Lead the end-to-end data collection, validation, and preparation of multiple annual rankings submissions, ensuring accuracy and audit-readiness through detailed documentation.
  • Manage submission calendars, interpret requirements, and resolve issues to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Build and apply expertise in major ranking methodologies, advising internal teams on how to apply definitions correctly, monitoring changes, and assessing potential impacts on Ivey’s positioning.
  • Analyze results and trends, translating them into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leaders to inform rankings strategy and improvement efforts.
  • Develop and execute engagement plans for each rankings cycle, coordinating with leaders from relevant teams and leading targeted communications to alumni, employers, and students to maximize participation and data quality.
  • Accreditation
  • Lead the collection, validation, and submission of annual accreditation data surveys (e.g., AACSB Business School Questionnaire, Staff Compensation and Data Survey, BSQ Finance and Employment modules), ensuring accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Serve as a key resource on accreditation readiness by interpreting evolving standards and identifying potential gaps, trade-offs, or compliance risks early
  • Coordinate and guide cross-departmental contributions to EQUIS reaccreditation and Ivey’s AACSB accreditation journey, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and standards.
  • Manage accreditation timelines, documentation, and progress tracking, proactively identifying and addressing risks to submission readiness.
  • Draft and contribute to extensive written materials for self-assessment and continuous improvement, translating complex data and requirements into clear, actionable narratives.
  • Proactively research and prepare well-supported responses to inquiries from accreditation bodies and visiting peer review teams.
  • Institutional Planning and Reporting
  • Support the development and monitoring of Ivey’s strategic planning activities to support decision-making by the Dean and Management Committee.
  • Manage and prioritize planning timelines, major milestones, and reporting deliverables to keep activities on track.
  • Interpret external reporting requirements (e.g., rankings, accreditation, University processes) and advise on alignment with Ivey’s strategic plans.
  • Independently develop school-wide reporting to external organizations, funders, and government bodies, including regular reporting on strategic progress to key stakeholders
  • Independently identify and analyze benchmarking data to surface strategic risks and opportunities, shaping decision-making and planning priorities.
  • Engagement, Communication, and Coordination
  • Build and manage relationships with faculty, program teams, research, and administrative staff to gather, verify, and clarify data and narrative inputs.
  • Actively identify gaps, conflicting information, or misaligned inputs during data collection and work with contributors to resolve issues and ensure submission quality.
  • Coordinate project timelines and responsibilities across multiple contributors.
  • Communicate expectations, deadlines, and updates to all stakeholders clearly and proactively.
  • Draft and edit written submissions to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with institutional priorities.
  • Institutional Awareness and Decision Support
  • Apply deep knowledge of Ivey’s structure, programs, and strategic goals to inform rankings, accreditation, and planning activities.
  • Assess data for completeness, consistency, and relevance to support high-quality reporting and insight generation.
  • Recommend and help implement improvements to data processes that enhance Ivey’s ability to make evidence-informed decisions.
  • Understand the origin, use, and limitations of key data sources used in rankings, accreditation, and planning.
