Te Tūranga | About the Role As a Rapid Application Development (RAD) Specialist, you support, maintain, and extend Silver Fern Farms’ iLeader (a data management system used by our Health & Safety and Environmental teams), M365, and other low-code platforms, helping teams work smarter and faster. You sit close to the business, partnering with users to understand their needs and translating those into practical, well-designed technical solutions. While this isn’t a full-stack development role, it is a hands-on delivery role where you actively configure, build, and improve applications, workflows, and reports using low-code tools. This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, visibility, and problem-solving, and who takes pride in delivering solutions that people actually use, and is looking for an opportunity to step into a technical role in a large business. Your impact will include: Building and configuring applications using low-code platforms such as iLeader, SharePoint, Power Platform, and SQL Developing and maintaining workflows, forms, batch jobs, and reports Investigating and resolving system issues, working with vendors and internal stakeholders as needed Providing training, guidance, and support to end users Contributing to business analysis and solution design to ensure fit-for-purpose outcomes This is a permanent, full-time role, based in our Dunedin Hub. Ōu Pūkenga | About You You’re customer-focused, technically curious, and enjoy turning requirements into working solutions. You’re comfortable working directly with users, explaining technical concepts clearly, and iterating based on feedback. This role suits someone early in their development career who wants exposure, ownership, and the chance to grow within a supportive team. You’ll likely bring: 1–2 years’ experience in an IT, systems, or application support role Experience (or strong interest) in low-code platforms such as iLeader, SharePoint, and Power Platform Familiarity with forms, workflows, and content management solutions Exposure to systems analysis, testing, documentation, or user training Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases and queries (or willingness to learn) A relevant diploma or degree in IT or a related field (advantageous) Tono Mai | To Apply Click Apply to submit your application.
