Accountabilities The Rare Bone and Endocrine Medical Advisor acts as a core member of the cross-functional brand team, taking the medical lead for the therapeutic area. The role builds and maintains strategic scientific partnerships with Key External Experts (KEE) and other healthcare professionals through non-promotional interactions, gaining insights that shape brand strategy and medical plans. It leads pre-launch strategy and execution, ensuring scientific excellence in tactics and activities, and provides key medical input to marketing, sales and market access. The Medical Advisor delivers high-quality, up-to-date scientific and medical information, reviews and approves promotional materials in line with internal and external standards, and develops and executes medical affairs projects within agreed budgets and timelines. Maintaining robust scientific expertise, the role continuously monitors the literature, attends national and international congresses, supports internal education and training, and contributes to clinical operations through site selection support. It manages scientific partnerships with KEEs, including externally sponsored research, grants and scientific sponsorships, organizing advisory interactions to co-create projects that advance the therapeutic area strategy. The Medical Advisor ensures full compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and guidance, completes required training, actively participates in medical department activities, shares best practices and takes on additional assignments or champion roles as needed. Essential Skills/Experience Medical or Pharmacist Degree or scientific degree with PhD\ DMD\ MD\ DVM Significant and robust experience with searching, handling, assimilating, synthesizing, reporting and presenting scientific data in the health care sectorNational mobility and flexibility (organisation and attendance of evening meetings) Excellent relational and communication skills. Takes initiative and proactive were needed while conscious of compliance and process rules in the company. Presentation skills Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams Knowledge of therapeutic area or the ability to acquire this knowledge rapidly. Broad employability in other TAs is an asset.
