Description •Processes transactions on all Commercial Lines policies including quotations, new business issuance, policy changes, policy renewals, and premium audits •Performs data input, rating, coding, verification, and forms attachment for all policies •Works directly with underwriting and audit staff on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all transactions in order to maximize product quality delivered to our customers •Trains staff to process all rating transactions and functions •Processes complex and/or specialty handled rating transactions •Completes required data reporting to bureaus and assures reported data is accurate •Performs support functions for the underwriting teams •Assist agents with Guidewire navigation •Performs other duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications Must have skills: -6+ months of experience working in an office setting -Typing test (45wpm – 90% accuracy or higher) -Savvy with computer and technology -Ms Office suite Soft skills: •Attention to detail - Proofing – can’t make a mistake. Very accurate! More worried about accuracy then speed. •Complexity / ability to put a puzzle together. •Strong communication skills •Want for career growth – don’t hire to stay on this team, hire to grow. •Very professional and cheerful •Very independent role once trained. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pekin, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr.
