This is a 24-month structured learning and development program that will equip upcoming and recent college graduates, as well as career changers, with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the world of financial analysis, reinsurance broking, and risk management. This is a full-time role with a hybrid work schedule. You will have in-office days and remote days determined by the location. How you'll make an impact From natural catastrophes to cyber or emerging risks, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our clients' assets and helping them navigate complex risks with confidence. By immersing yourself in sophisticated analytics, you will provide invaluable insights, innovative risk transfer strategies, and operational expertise, enabling our clients to maintain strong financial positions to cover claims for their policyholders when disasters strike. As a program participant, you will: Master the use of groundbreaking vendor platforms to acquire and analyze financial data Discover and calculate important metrics distinct to the insurance industry Collaborate with the Rating Agency Advisory team, assisting with research and providing valuable responses to broker and client inquiries Analyze financial information and ratios to evaluate insurance companies and industry segments Stay ahead of industry trends and developments through in-depth exploration of rating agency and insurance industry topics Showcase your research and analysis skills, presenting captivating insights to internal partners, clients, and prospects Thrive in a vibrant team-based environment, engaging with broking counterparts and fostering collaboration In addition, you will participate in web-based and in-person seminars to expand your industry knowledge and work towards attaining your ARe (Associate in Reinsurance) designation within 18 months of your hire date along with other necessary licenses. As your experience and expertise grow, you will play a meaningful role in helping clients navigate market challenges and understanding coverage solutions that align with their risk profile. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting clients during unexpected losses or other market pressures, ensuring their businesses continue to thrive. About You Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, i.e. Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Risk Management, etc. Strong technological proficiency enabling you to use various software for efficient data extraction and task completion, i.e. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Power BI, etc. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues Strong analytical and time management skills Flexibility to travel to our home office in Rolling Meadows, IL, up to five (5) different times during the two-year training. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position.
