Do you have a proven track record of success in the FMCG Food Industry? We are currently recruiting for a RMQA to work rotating shift patterns.

  • Week 1: Monday – Thurs 5am – 1.30pm / Friday 5am – 1pm
  • Week 2: Tuesday – Friday 6.30am – 3.00pm / Saturday 5am – 1pm

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Inspection of vehicles onto site post security checks to ensure compliance to specification including but not exclusive to the cleanliness of deliveries and temperatures of vehicles.
  • Ensure all batches of raw materials are fully assessed and inspected for their quality and legality.
  • Ensure all batches of packaging are fully assessed and inspected against the approved versions and specifications.
  • Ensure all batches of ingredients are fully assessed and inspected, ensuring they match specification and is no cross contamination of allergenic material.
  • Collect relevant samples of raw material and ingredients to a schedule and submit onto the ALS portal for microbiological assessment.
  • Complete relevant supplier non-conformances when an issue is identified at raw material stage and ensure that this is forwarded to the correct suppliers.
  • Complete supplier non-conformances for any further processed raw materials when defects cannot be identified at the initial intake stage.
  • Support in providing data for the issue of accurate, on time, fully completed external KPI reports.
  • Be the key stakeholders of the K2 intake system, ensuring that any intakes on this system are checked and signed off in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the external storage facilities are kept at the correct temperatures throughout the shift on a regular basis.
  • Support and manage the use of the supplier non-conformance log, ensuring that it is kept up to date allowing for data trending upon request.
  • Conduct organoleptic assessment of raw materials upon delivery to site.
  • Working closely with the intake team to ensure the most up to date Approved Supplier Matrix is in use and reflective of the current supplier status, in addition to ensuring only approved suppliers’ raw materials are permitted on site.
  • Ensure that the RMQA facility is kept in a good state of repair in terms of cleanliness.
  • Conduct daily, monthly and annual calibration checks as required against the schedule for items within the RMQA facility.
