Description The Company: Pacific Aerospace & Electronics (PacAero) is seeking a Raw Material Coordinator to join our team. PacAero is primarily located in Wenatchee, WA with a remote manufacturing site, Bonded Metals, located in Sequim, WA. Working together, we employ proprietary technologies, best practices engineering, and specialized manufacturing techniques to produce hermetic connectors and electronic packaging that perform in the world’s most extreme environments. PacAero’s products are hard at work in medical components, such as cardiac-function devices, on key aerospace & defense programs, in space and deep below the earth's surface. The Position: Job Summary Responsible for supporting daily shop operations by managing documentation, verifying material and document accuracy, and ensuring efficient inventory control. Duties include printing work orders and drawings, running ERP system reports, verifying revision levels, receiving and organizing materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role also involves vetting daily cut lists, communicating with other departments, and adhering to safety and operational standards while identifying and reporting issues to supervisor. Strong collaboration and attention to detail are essential. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am to 3:30pm Primary Responsibilities Work cooperatively with all employees. Willingness to adapt work schedule to company needs. Consistently at work and on time. Following company handbook policy and companies cell phone policy. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Observe safety regulations and follow protective equipment requirements. Report hazardous observations to your lead or supervisor. Must be able to retain information and show continued progression towards a Raw Material Coordinator II position. Raw Material Coordinator I responsibilities Printing work orders, drawings, and other documents. Must learn and become efficient with our ERP system. Run a releasable report every morning in our ERP system. Verifying revision levels on all documents. Obtain an in-house forklift license. Receiving material following all shop processes. Inventory counts and adjustments. Put away material, add material locations, correctly fill out inventory tags to maintain traceability. Vet the WTJT/SAW cut list for the day. Send feedback/request to other departments via email. Collaborate and communicate effectively. Adhere to industry best practices, safety protocols, and company standards. Identifying and escalating any operational issues to lead or supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work Environment Noise: The machine shop can often be a loud environment with constant noise from equipment requiring mandatory hearing protection. Safety hazards: Raw materials coordinator can be exposed to inherent risks from powerful, high-speed equipment, including moving parts and sharp tools. Safety protocols are critical to prevent injuries. Contaminants: The work involves exposure to airborne particles like metal dust, coolant mist, and chemical fumes, necessitating adequate ventilation and protective measures to minimize health risks when on the shop floor. Protective gear: Personal protective equipment (PPE) is a requirement for safety. This includes safety glasses and hearing protection on the shop floor. Shift work: Must be flexible to work any of the following shifts: M-Th 5am-3:30pm, M-Th 3:15pm-1:45am, Fri-Sun 5am-6pm, and Fri-Sun 5pm-6am. Physical Requirements: Standing/Sitting: Raw materials coordinator can spend long hours in a chair or on their feet at a computer. Lifting: The job can require lifting and moving heavy parts or raw materials. Some roles may involve moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds when on the shop floor. Manual dexterity: Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are necessary. Repetitive motion: Many tasks, such as loading and unloading workpieces, deburring parts, inspecting parts, are repetitive and can potentially lead to musculoskeletal issues over time. Precision and vision: Raw material coordinators must have excellent close-up vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish colors to accurately read blueprints, inspect finished products, and use measuring instruments. Stamina: Physical stamina is required for the duration of a shift to perform all duties of the job.
