Our Client, a leading manufacturing/distribution company is looking for a Raymond Reach Operator to join their team. In this role you will perform a variety of tasks within our warehouse including loading trucks, unloading trucks, case picking product, and staging finished product as it is released from our packing area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma with a minimum of five (5) years of equivalent training/experience,
  • Valid Forklift License (Raymond Reach)
  • strong organizational skills and verbal and written communication skills;
  • manufacturing experience is an asset
  • Ability to interpret/log packing slips and purchase orders; and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good manual dexterity required.
  • Must be able to read and follow assembly documentation and operating schedules.
  • Comfortable with frequently lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Experience with computer software is required
  • Exposure to SAP / ERP is preferred
  • Experience with inventory management tools such as min / max would also be an asset
Responsibilities
  • Operate Raymond Reach Forklift with various attachments (pull-pack, slip sheet, etc.) in a bustling warehouse
  • Safely load/unload trailers ensuring weight distribution, load integrity, and all shipping instructions are followed.
  • Must perform assembly of heavy mechanical & electrical assemblies.
  • Must be able use hand and power tools.
  • Move finished product from the production line and store it in the correct location in the warehouse
  • Case pick product following all guidelines using an RF scanner, hand wrap and label products, and stage in the appropriate location
  • Ensure a clean and safe production environment including sanitation and cleaning
  • Regularly lift items up to 55 pounds
  • All other duties as assigned
