Job Details Job Location: Razzoos Harker Heights - Harker Heights, TX 76548 Job Shift: Any Position Overview: Greet and seat guests, manage table seating and answer phones Deliver Hospitality to every guest Greet guests in warm, friendly and courteous manner Open door for guests as they enter and exit the restaurant Manage and promote the specific Call-Ahead / reservation policies of the restaurant Make guests comfortable while waiting Manage wait list quoting accurate wait times Select appropriate station and table or booth Take guests to selected table/booth Provide menu to guests Describe menu items if requested by guest Suggest menu items if appropriate Answer telephones and follow phone procedures Take phone To-Go orders and deliver to Bartender Defer all guest questions regarding allergies to the Manager on Duty Assist guests in seating of small children or special needs guests Acknowledge guests who are leaving and invite them to return Keep entrance area clean and stocked Be observant of landscape and pick up trash as necessary Check restrooms periodically; wipe counters, clean windows and pick up trash as necessary Provide children with a balloon, children’s menu and crayons Assist service staff by refilling beverages, clearing plates, and helping to maintain tables and serve guests Wash and sanitize hands after removing trash, eating and drinking, using the bathroom, touching own face or hair, or handling food prep Alert appropriate personnel to immediately empty trash cans after broken glass has been disposed in them Maintain a clean and safe environment reporting any unsafe procedures or conditions to anyone in management Participate in executing birthday celebrations Comply with all applicable federal, state and local statutes as well as Razzoo’s policies and procedures Perform additional responsibilities as requested by a manager at any time Qualifications Licensing Requirements: Food Safety Handling Certification Experience/Education/Knowledge: Experience in full service restaurant environment is helpful, but not required Successful completion of Razzoo’s training for this position required Must be of legal age to work required hours in compliance with federal, state or local laws Physical Demands: Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and carry items up to 20 lbs. Move about the dining and kitchen areas quickly and carefully Stand/walk during entire shift Ability to hear with accuracy over loud background noise 20/20 Near Vision, with correction – the ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) Manual Dexterity – the ability to quickly move hand, hand and arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects Working Conditions: Stationed at restaurant entrance and dining areas Fast-paced environment Narrow spaces between dining tables and in kitchen area Several guests and co-workers moving about at same time Several guests or tasks to attend to at one time Background noise, i.e., guests and employees speaking simultaneously, equipment noise and background music Exposure to hot (kitchen) and cold (walk-ins) temperatures
