RBI Engineer

WestCorp Solutions is seeking RBI Engineer candidates for our client in Fort McMurray, AB. This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with 8-hour days. The client is seeking local candidates, and bussing to and from site is provided daily.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering
• 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation with APEGA.
• Strong knowledge of industry Codes, Standards, and Regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and disciplines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality results on time.

Schedule:

Work Location: In perso

• Develop equipment strategies for fixed equipment within oil sands operations.
• Evaluate damage mechanisms to assess probability of failure.
• Provide recommendations for mitigating actions to enhance equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with inspections personnel, mechanical engineering, operations, and process technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations to stakeholders.
• Manage time effectively while addressing multiple priorities and complex technical issues.
