Description:
WestCorp Solutions is seeking RBI Engineer candidates for our client in Fort McMurray, AB. This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with 8-hour days. The client is seeking local candidates, and bussing to and from site is provided daily.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation with APEGA.
- Strong knowledge of industry Codes, Standards, and Regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and disciplines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality results on time.

Responsibilities:
- Develop equipment strategies for fixed equipment within oil sands operations.
- Evaluate damage mechanisms to assess probability of failure.
- Provide recommendations for mitigating actions to enhance equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with inspections personnel, mechanical engineering, operations, and process technical teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations to stakeholders.
- Manage time effectively while addressing multiple priorities and complex technical issues.
