Job Objective / Purpose: The HR Assistant for Total Rewards is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefits programs together with collecting, analyzing, and reporting on HR data to support strategic decision-making. This role ensures that the organization's compensation and benefits offerings are competitive, compliant with legal requirements, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. S/He will work closely with the HR team and other departments to provide excellent service to employees and support the overall HR strategy. This role will be hired under Reliance Care, Inc. (RCI) - a subsidiary of Unilab. Background and Qualifications: Education A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant Work Experience 1-3 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration or a related HR role. Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Advanced proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (web-based / E3), particularly Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Human Resources certifications are a plus. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Duties and Responsibilities: Compensation Administration: Assist in the development and implementation of compensation policies and procedures. 201 File maintenance and update Payroll Instruction and DTR Job Offer Management for Specialist II and below Support the annual salary review process, including data analysis and reporting. Benefits Administration: Leaves: Manual Processing, Reporting, Conversion Ticket Management: Dispatching, Reply, Processing, Reporting Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits. Coordinate with benefits providers and ensure timely and accurate processing of benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations. Conduct benefits orientations and provide ongoing support to employees regarding benefits inquiries. HBA (Flexicare) and GLI Enrollment Intercompany Billing Management and processing MedVale endorsement of deductions Uniform Ordering and Distribution Management Assist in the development and implementation of wellness programs and initiatives. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation and benefits laws and regulations. Prepare and submit required reports and filings, such as EEO-1, ACA, and other regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and benefits documentation. Employee Support: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding compensation and benefits-related questions and issues. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on compensation and benefits policies and procedures. Assist in the resolution of employee issues related to compensation and benefits. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements. Prepare regular reports on compensation and benefits metrics for management review. Collect and analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, employee engagement, compensation trends). Prepare regular reports and dashboards for HR leadership and management. Identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve HR strategies. Support HR projects and initiatives related to compensation and benefits. Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to HR processes based on data insights. Collaborate with HR teams to implement best practices.
