Description

The RCM Solution Architect Senior Manager is responsible for managing automation programs and designing solutions for Tarpon clients. The primary responsibilities are to establish and lead client automation programs, create and manage automation roadmaps, design automation solutions and guide developers to deliver high-quality automations. This role involves managing client relationships and overseeing the successful execution and fulfillment of client contracts. The ideal candidate brings expertise in healthcare operations, automation, solution design, and client relationship management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare operations, with a strong understanding of revenue cycle processes
  • 5–7 years of proven experience in program management or a related leadership role
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing scalable automation solutions using platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Power Automate
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Canva, or GitMind
  • Familiarity with budget management, strategic planning, and staffing planning

Responsibilities
  • Program Management
  • Set up and manage cross-department automation program governance
  • Advise on best practice technical setup and strategy for machines, applications, and credentials used by the automation program
  • Implement an operating model to support automation lifecycle. Includes:
  • Integrating automation lifecycle into existing operational framework
  • Creating new/updated procedural documents and educating operations
  • Create, manage, and execute the client automation roadmap
  • Implement and oversee development, testing, hypercare, and maintenance. Includes:
  • Developing and managing sprint plans
  • Support testing with development and operations teams
  • Develop metrics to aid in monitoring automation effectiveness and business impact
  • Developing maintenance dashboards and KPIs
  • Developing and implementing SOPs and SLAs for automation support
  • Manage program resources (e.g. junior solution architects, developers, etc.)
  • Solution Design
  • Collaborate with client business and IT/technical teams through shadowing and process mapping to understand business processes and identify automation use cases
  • Design and develop automation architecture and components, incorporating best practices and guidelines
  • Addressing upstream and downstream workflows
  • Includes but is not limited to automation inputs (e.g. export), exception management, and integration
  • Focus on code that is modular and reusable
  • Create documentation for automation implementation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user guides
  • Identify, document, and communicate process improvement opportunities identified through solution identification and design process
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Report out to health system senior leadership on program updates, blockers and key milestone
  • Work closely with automation program sponsor to ensure ongoing strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, support on requests and blockers, and review of key decisions and deliverables
  • Tarpon Delivery
  • Support the development and execution of the Tarpon Delivery Team strategic vision
  • Scale and improve the operations and processes needed to support the Managed Service Deliverables
  • Identify new business opportunities within current customer base and contribute to identifying additional solutions to be provided to the market

  • Participate in Tarpon Community activities specific to Solution Architect and Program Management activities, including but not limited to: Solution Architect Certification training, Webinars, Research, User Groups
