Job Description Summary:
Responsible for obtaining arterial blood samples from patients and proper labeling, preparation, and transport of the samples to the Respiratory Care arterial blood gas analysis lab. Ability to perform arthrocentesis in assigned clinical and outpatient areas. Assists with stop smoking education, incentive spirometry instruction, and equipment cleaning and maintenance, including high-level disinfection. Assists with the stocking of all Respiratory Care areas.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
