We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills, making it essential for candidates to be well-versed in dental assisting practices and software.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred.
• Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Dentrix and Dexis.
• Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
• Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining excellent communication with patients.

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for various dental procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Dexis.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Manage appointment scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
