We’re seeking a dynamic RD&A Technologist to join our Meat Product Development team and drive exciting projects from concept to launch!

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Previous experience in the food industry
• BSc in Food Science or equivalent
• Solid knowledge of meat technologies and processing
• Demonstrated experience in supporting customer production lines
• Strong understanding of food ingredients
• Experience collaborating with customers
• Competent IT skills
• Self-motivated and highly organized
• Excellent communication skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead development and application activities across key meat projects, ensuring all products meet legal and compositional standards and are tailored to specific applications.
• Collaborate with customers to create innovative new concepts and rejuvenate existing products, showcasing your expertise through impactful presentations and market insights.
• Coordinate the launch of new products, overseeing trials at Kerry manufacturing sites to guarantee a seamless rollout.
• Proactively develop solutions that align with Kerry promotional campaigns, positioning us at the forefront of industry trends.
• Conduct research to enhance current products and pioneer new ideas, ensuring ingredient functionality meets the customer’s vision and requirements.
• Manage projects from initiation to launch, leveraging strong project management skills and engaging cross-functional teams for optimal results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application concerns, acting as a reliable technical partner for our valued customers.
• Build meaningful relationships with key account peers, establishing yourself—and Kerry—as a trusted solutions partner in the industry.
• Stay ahead of market developments and infuse fresh insights into our offerings, delivering unique selling points that set us apart.
• Keep a pulse on the competition through sensory product evaluations and retail reviews, driving continuous improvement and market awareness.
