Description

The role of the Re-manufacturing Operator will be required to support the safe and compliant processing of post-use medical devices. This hands-on role involves operating equipment, following strict procedures, and ensuring that remanufactured products meet quality and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a regulated, cleanroom environment and committed to supporting a sustainable healthcare model. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform manual and automated tasks involved in the cleaning, inspection, disassembly, reassembly, and testing of medical devices. Operate production equipment and tools in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Follow all safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Accurately complete production records, batch documentation, and device tracking logs. Conduct visual and functional inspections to identify defects or non-conformances. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with 5S and GMP standards. Report equipment malfunctions, process deviations, or quality concerns to supervisors promptly. Participate in training, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional team activities. EDUCATION/TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school certificate or equivalent; vocational training in manufacturing or technical fields is a plus. Previous experience in a manufacturing, medical device, or cleanroom environment preferred. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high attention to detail. Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic documentation systems. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., ISO 13485, TGA, FDA). Knowledge of medical device handling, sterilization, or reprocessing procedures. Forklift or equipment operation certification (if applicable). Willingness to consider EHS activities within role responsibilities Willingness to be involved in writing procedures, training, safety gambas.
