JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team.Your licence must be a D2 licence and allow you to work above 8 metres The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move, load, and unload goods within our warehouse. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes while adhering to safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle materials safely.
  • Basic maths skills for inventory management and record keeping.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not essential; training may be provided.

  • Collaborate with team members to maintain an organised warehouse environment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
