a React/Front End Developer who is looking for their next challenge to join our team.
The focus of the role is to develop SaaS products using React, Redux and the latest “micro front end” technology that delights our customers. You will join a development team with varying levels of experience and skillset, all with a keen eye for detail and passionate about the latest technology
Ideally, our developers are required to be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle and should be comfortable engaging directly with
stakeholders, from requirements gathering through to the development, deployment and handover to QA.
edison365 are a people first organisation with emphasis on a great work life balance. One of the key initiatives edison365 has recently delivered is a move to a 4-day week (after a successful probation period), with the whole organisation now working a 32 hours per week, with a choice of either Monday or Friday as your weekly non-working day.
The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work from home but they must be UK based and have the rights to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

SPECIFIC ROLE REQUIREMENTS

A self-starter, keen to further develop both their personal and the team’s knowledge and skillset, with a ‘make it happen’ attitude.
Ensuring developments are provided using the appropriate technologies and delivered to the appropriate development standards, ensuring all developments are robust, fully tested, of high quality and fit for purpose.
3+ years’ experience in a software developer role, in a software development organisation.
Knowledge of software development patterns and practices and application lifecycle management approaches.
Strong commercial experience is required.

  • Deliver high quality well thought out solutions
  • Ensure high code standards are maintained throughout peer review process
  • Ensure development handovers to Quality Assurance are executed
  • Work as part of a self-managing agile team
