ABOUT THE TEAM AND ROLE

Join the Everand mobile team as a React Native Engineer and help build the next generation of Scribd’s cross-platform mobile experience. We’re transitioning to a hybrid mobile architecture, and you’ll be instrumental in building high-quality features in React Native and supporting our migration from native codebases.
You’ll collaborate closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers to bring engaging, performant user experiences to life. Along the way, you’ll contribute to shared components, uphold mobile development best practices, and help identify areas for improvement in our growing React Native footprint.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Your main focus will be to build and maintain high-quality features using React Native across our iOS and Android apps.
• Much of your work will center on the migration of Everand app functionality from native code to React Native.
• You’ll collaborate with other engineers to ensure smooth integration of cross-platform components within a hybrid mobile architecture.
• You’ll team up with designers, product managers, and QA to ship features that are polished, performant, and user-focused.
• You’ll take part in code reviews, contribute to shared component libraries, and help improve developer tooling and workflows.
• You’ll also troubleshoot issues related to performance, and platform-specific behaviors.
