Description

ABOUT FURTHER FORWARD

We’re a fast-growing UK-based startup building our own suite of SaaS apps, while also working with clients on bespoke digital solutions. Our vibe? Think clean code, fast shipping, and meaningful work — all wrapped in a relaxed but razor-sharp culture. We’re here to build smart software, sustainably and with soul.
We’re now looking for a talented and experienced mainly frontend and mobile developer to join us on this journey — someone who thrives in a small, dynamic team and wants to leave their mark on real products.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK WITH

We’re looking for someone who’s confident and comfortable with:

  • React
  • React Native
  • JavaScript
  • Next.js
  • Node.js
  • Tailwind CSS
  • API Integration (Mainly REST)
  • API Planning & Building
  • Secure Authentication Flows
  • Role Based Access Controls
  • Git (obviously)

You should be able to write clean, maintainable code and understand how to balance speed and quality. Previous SaaS experience is a big bonus — we’d love someone who knows the challenges (and rewards) of scaling software.

GREAT TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN, BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

  • Amazon AWS - Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS etc.
  • Vercel
  • Supabase (PostgreSql)
  • Automated Testing (Jest, Playwright etc.)
  • Row Level Security Policies
  • Columnar databases (e.g. Clickhouse)
  • Multi-tenant Apps
Responsibilities

You’ll be working across three key areas:

  • Product development: Building and shaping our in-house SaaS products from the ground up.
  • Maintenance: Improving and supporting our existing SaaS tools.
  • Client projects: Occasionally jumping in to support on select external builds

We move fast, but smart. That means shipping frequently, but with intention — and keeping quality at the core of everything we do.
