Description Job Purpose: Managing, scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating various aspects of plant operations for ready-mix concrete and aggregate material. Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Professionally administer incoming calls and ensure they are managed or redirected accordingly; Answer all routine and non-routine questions. Maintains customer relations by always acting and speaking in a professional manner React quickly to unforeseen changes in scheduling requirements. Coordinate activities of workers engages in the manufacturing of concrete and delivering ready mix related products. Maintains contact with drivers and dispatch to expedite delivery and safety Assist in daily labor reports and perform corrections with supervisor’s approval. Receive any driver/vehicle violation information and forward to Logistics Department. Support accounts payable functions as required: communicates with CFO staff to resolve ticket issues. Keep office supply inventory. Order office supplies, create and print forms for department. Obtain Job numbers from Construction Office Manager. Keep records of all credit card expense reports/receipts. Forward violations on expenditures to HR Director. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Performs additional duties as needed. Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, procedure manuals and job instructions and basic problem-solving skills. Ability to manually add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and multi-task effectively. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to operate computer and computer software, to include Microsoft Office products. Ability to use department equipment. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
