CLASS 2 HGV READYMIX CONCRETE DRIVER

This is an exciting opportunity to join the leading supplier of site-mix and ready-mixed concrete in the Eastern Region! At Eastern Concrete, we pride ourselves on delivering top-quality concrete solutions from our plants in Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Norwich and Leiston.
As an Class 2 HGV Readymix Concrete Mixer Driver, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our concrete reaches a variety of sites and customers across Leiston. This full-time role offers 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for overtime at an hourly rate of £17.79.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Hold a Class 2 HGV Licence with Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC.
• You will need to be enthusiastic, reliable and customer focussed
• Excellent time and communication skills are essential
• Ability to build and retain positive internal and external relationships
• Knowledge of Leiston roads would be beneficial
• Flexible in your approach and willing to learn all aspects of the business to carry out various duties

• Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of Readymix concrete to various locations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and keep your truck in top condition.
• Work in accordance with safe practices and legislation with regards to Driver Hours and the Working Time Directive.
• Complete required paperwork with good attention to detail.
• Assist Plant Supervisor as required.
