Description of the department Within AXA IM Alts, the Real Assets European Transactions team is composed of 30+ professionals responsible for originating, underwriting and executing real estate investments on behalf of all AXA IM Alts clients. The team operates through 10 local offices, covering Europe’s key markets and offering AXA IM Alts clients unparalleled access to deals, market intelligence and relationships with domestic partners and stakeholders. The team is active across the entire risk spectrum, with investment strategies ranging for Core to Opportunistic, both in traditional real estate sectors (office, retail, residential, residential) and alternatives (hotels, healthcare, data centres, student housing etc). Your role and responsibilities will include: Modelling real estate and corporate acquisitions cash flows Performing market analysis of investment opportunities Drafting AXA IM Real Assets Investment Committee papers Contributing to specific due diligence workstreams Administrate acquisitions pipeline, team reporting and market watch Perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time Education Skills & Experience Education Studying for a degree in Finance, Investment Management, Real Estate or related subject on a 4-year University degree course with 3rd year work placement included Skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a team within an international and fast-moving environment Microsoft Excel (modelling and analysis), Word, PowerPoint, etc. Knowledge of Bloomberg is an advantage High degree of analytical thinking/financial analysis Organised and thorough, with good attention to detail Effective communication including verbal, written & presentational Creative thinking, capability to develop innovative solutions and challenge consensus Fluency in English, a second European language desirable Experience Proven interest in finance/ real estate What we offer This internship is an excellent opportunity to discover an international working environment.
