The role |
We are currently looking for a Lawyer at a Associate or Senior Associate level to join our Sydney Real Estate - Property & Development team. The team’s focus lies with transactions in significant property assets including acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing (including agreements for lease) for both landlords and tenants, development projects, and the acquisition, structuring, planning, construction and sale of ’off the plan’ residential apartment developments.

THE REQUIREMENTS |

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • experience in and exposure to complex property and leasing transactions and property development;
  • experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements and allocating risk in a commercially astute manner;
  • excellent technical, analytical and communication skills, a strong knowledge of the property industry, and the ability to apply such skills and knowledge to deliver prompt and commercially astute advice and outcomes for our clients;
  • excellent matter management skills, with the ability to appropriately scope matters and manage fee estimates and billing;
  • a strong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management skills, as you will play a key role in supporting and actively developing our relationships with our clients; and
  • the ability and willingness to mentor and manage junior colleagues and support other team members.
