Job Description The Real Estate Development Commercial Lead (International) will oversee the strategic planning, commercial management, and execution of office fit-outs and construction projects across the client’s global portfolio. This role is pivotal in ensuring that real estate developments align with business needs, brand standards, sustainability goals, and financial targets. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and deliver high-quality, cost-effective real estate solutions in international markets. Strategic & Commercial Leadership Develop and implement commercial strategies for international real estate projects, including new office developments, refurbishments, and fit-outs. Lead feasibility studies, business case development, and financial modeling for major capital projects. Align real estate initiatives with broader corporate strategy, workplace transformation, and ESG objectives. Project & Portfolio Management Oversee end-to-end delivery of construction and fit-out projects across multiple geographies, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion. Manage project governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement at executive levels. Monitor portfolio performance and identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings. Vendor & Contract Management Lead procurement strategies and negotiate contracts with consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with local regulations, policies, and global standards. Manage relationships with external partners including landlords, developers, and design firms. Risk, Compliance & Sustainability Ensure all projects adhere to health & safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Champion sustainable design and construction practices, including LEED/BREEAM certifications where applicable. Mitigate commercial risks through robust contract and financial controls. Qualifications Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field; MBA or MRICS preferred. 10+ years of experience in corporate real estate development, with international exposure. Proven track record in managing large-scale office fit-outs and construction projects. Strong commercial acumen and experience in financial planning, budgeting, and cost control. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across cultures and seniority levels.
