Description
Coordinate all the documentation requirements to complete real estate loan transactions, from submission of real estate application to loan closing. Work closely with loan underwriters to ascertain compliance with the Credit Union's policies and with applicable statutes and regulations. Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer to the appropriate sales representatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Perform clerical duties to support the originator/ underwriter in meeting production goals (i.e. filing and other miscellaneous clerical duties pertinent to the loan application process). * Order, verify, and follow up on required documentation in accordance with the Credit Union standards and policy requirements. * Correspond and follow up with various vendors on a timely manner to meet all deadlines. * Thoroughly and completely process and evaluate real estate loan files for submission to underwriters for review and approval. * Validate all data entries. * Approve low-risk conditions. * Apply system lock and process redisclosure for change in circumstance. * Keep informed of current real estate lending trends relative to rates, fees, sales, and general market trends. * Process in accordance with regulatory and investor requirements. * Assist in training other processors/ closers in various job functions and responsibilities. * Look for cross-sell opportunities and refer to the loan officers when applicable. * Perform other duties as assigned. Benefits And Compensation The expected pay range for the Mortgage Processor III is $55,000 to $65,000 per year.  This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role based on typical qualifications and market data. The pay offered may vary depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
