    A well-established and forward-thinking law firm is seeking a Paralegal to join its Real Estate – Telecoms Team in Milton Keynes. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and commercially aware individual with experience in commercial property to work on a broad range of telecoms-related real estate transactions.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Previous experience in commercial property law is essential.
  • Legal qualification (Law degree, CILEX or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage your own caseload.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and able to build positive relationships.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Willingness to attend occasional events, secondments, and client offices as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of varied property matters including leasehold acquisitions, deeds of variation, surrender agreements, licences to occupy, and freehold acquisitions.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as leases, transfer deeds, and other supporting documentation, working from precedent or client instructions.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and legal wording with external lawyers.
  • Liaise directly with clients, surveyors, and legal professionals.
  • Investigate registered and unregistered titles, identify issues, raise requisitions, and advise on title defects and remedies.
  • Handle SDLT/LTT submissions and HMLR applications post-completion.
  • Maintain and update client portals and internal systems in line with client procedures.
  • Produce transactional reports, completion packs, and other formal documentation.
  • Participate in client meetings, project work, and secondments if required.
  • Deliver training to client personnel and support marketing initiatives as needed.
