Description
Precloser    Precloser must be extremely organized, professional, team-oriented, customer service focused, and able to communicate professionally with clients effectively via telephone and email.  Must have excellent verbal and written skills, work ethic, and attention to details and deadlines.  The Candidate seeking the position should have a minimum of two or more years of Preclosing experience with a title company or law firm, preferably in the state of Georgia.   Job Responsibilities include:   - Communicate with agents, lenders, buyers and sellers throughout closing transactions from receipt of contract through closing - Coordinate with parties and vendors during transaction to close in accordance with contract dates and related due dates set by lender - Receive contracts and direct files opened with appropriate client team - Order title examination and municipal lien searches (if applicable) - Confirms Contact information of all parties of the transaction is correct in Firm software - Follows and completes each assigned Firm task to accurately prepare the file for closing.  - Communicates with the buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders to request specified documents related to contract, title, and any financing. - Verifies accuracy and consistency of specifications on documents received for closing. - Works closely with the Attorneys on title clearance issues prior to closing. - Orders payoffs and estoppel letters with good through dates past the settlement closing date. - Ensures accuracy of title commitment and submits the commitment to lenders. - Coordinates closing appointment(s) with parties to transaction. - Answers questions regarding closing process requirements. - Generates Firm documents prior to closing for buyers and sellers to facilitate completion of closing files. - Other tasks as directed by manager or managing attorney   Benefits include: * 1) Employer paid medical, dental, vision, short term disability, long term disability insurance * 2) Employer paid Life Insurance policy * 3) Outstanding 401K match * 4) Exceptional Paid Time Off benefits * 5) Additional Sick Leave * 6) Multiple locations in the in the southeast, visit www.mcmichaelandgray.com [http://www.mcmichaelandgray.com/] for a complete list * McMichael & Gray, PC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, drug free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable. * Job Type: Full-time This position is in the office Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
