Duncan Tringham and Michael Bray are both well-regarded Partners in the Bristol office and they manage high-value and complex real estate work on a national and local basis. Duncan is listed as a Recommended Lawyer and recognised as a Leading Partner in The Legal 500 (2025 edition) and also listed as a Leading Individual in Chambers & Partners (2025 edition). Michael specialises in transport and logistics, development and regeneration projects, and he works closely with private and public bodies on a range of real estate matters. Bristol now holds a very successful and entrepreneurial team and within that there is a variety of sector focused specialisms. We are, therefore, now seeking a Senior or Managing Associate with strong real estate experience, ideally with experience in telecoms code agreements. About the role The team are in expansion mode and are looking for a further lawyer to join them. The team need an enthusiastic lawyer with circa. 4 years’ PQE+, gained within a strong commercial practice. The role can be adapted to the level of experience of the chosen candidate. Your skills and qualifications Have directly relevant previous experience and have the correct level of post qualified experience (PQE) for the role in question. To have a strong commercial acumen and understanding of the industry. A proven track record of competent financial management, ability to meet client expectations and sound case management skills. To be a self-motivated, friendly individual with excellent interpersonal skills. To be able to consistently demonstrate and embody the firm’s values. Good IT skills, experience, and confidence with using case management systems, electronic time recording and general Microsoft packages. Competent financial management and commercial awareness, including accurate time recording, billing, achievement of firm delivered targets and management of WIP. To contribute actively toward business development opportunities to ensure the retention of existing clients and expansion of business.
