We’re now looking for a experienced Real Estate Tax Manager to support a prestigious portfolio of real estate clients, assisting them in solving their complex commercial and tax challenges. Why PwC? What You’ll do: Develop investment structures for our clients, with a particular focus on inbound investment structures, taxation of trusts and Managed Investment Trusts (MITs) Work closely with our wider Financial Advisory business (including our Deals, Tax (stamp duty, transfer pricing and GST), Legal, and Private Clients teams) to support real estate and/or infrastructure projects Assist clients with Merger and Acquisition (M&A) activities, including tax structuring and tax due diligence services Research and analyse technical tax issues and preparation of tax reports Assist clients with their tax compliance, including preparing and/or reviewing of trust and company tax returns Work with the Australian Tax Office (ATO) to obtain rulings for clients, and make submissions to Treasury on policy matters Support with business development initiatives and proposals Prepare for and attending meetings with clients Lead and develop teams, including mentoring and coaching to junior team members What we’re looking for: Your keen eye for detail Strong research and problem-solving skills A passion for being at the forefront of change Experience delivering Australian corporate tax advisory and compliance services across either a Big 4, Tier 2 or other professional service environment The ability to navigate an increasingly complex tax environment for clients through innovative solutions What you’ll gain: A supportive, inclusive culture where your ideas and perspective are welcomed from day one.
