Maintenance Technician – Rebar Fabrication Shop
Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems within the rebar fabrication facility. Ensures maximum equipment uptime, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on fabrication equipment (shears, benders, cutters, cranes, etc.)
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns quickly to reduce downtime.
  • Maintain shop infrastructure, including lighting, compressed air systems, and ventilation.
  • Coordinate with production to schedule downtime for major repairs.
  • Maintain logs of maintenance performed and parts used.
  • Order and inventory critical spare parts.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and facility safety protocols.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing equipment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with rebar machinery (e.g., Schnell, KRB, MEP).
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and welding.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and self-direction.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.80 per hour
