Rebuild Estimator – 1st Call Restoration Tyler Office Location: Location: Tyler, TX -This is an on-site position; candidates must be local or willing to commute Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Estimating / Reconstruction Reports To: Rebuild Manager / Operations Manager ABOUT THE ROLE Are you a detail-driven professional with a passion for accuracy and problem-solving? Join our industry-leading restoration team as a Rebuild Estimator, where you’ll play a critical role in helping homeowners and businesses recover after disaster. If you excel in fast-paced environments, have strong Xactimate skills, and enjoy working with insurance partners, this is an opportunity to make a real impact. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Own the estimating process: Prepare accurate, detailed repair/rebuild estimates using Xactimate. * Be the expert on-site: Conduct thorough inspections for fire, water, wind, mold, and other damage. * Collaborate & negotiate: Work closely with insurance adjusters, project managers, and clients to ensure fair and timely settlements. * Support project success: Track progress, update scopes, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. * Deliver excellence: Follow industry standards, company policies, and provide exceptional customer service at every step. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Experience: 2+ years as an Estimator in insurance restoration or construction. * Technical skills: Proficiency in Xactimate (Level 2 Certification preferred). * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. * Ability to read blueprints, interpret specs, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. * High school diploma required; Construction Management degree preferred. PREFERRED SKILLS * Experience with fire, water, mold, or storm restoration. * Familiarity with Next Gear Dash, CoreLogic, or other restoration platforms. * Ability to thrive under deadlines and adapt to changing conditions.
