OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RECE to join our team at Finch Business Park Child Care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. This role involves engaging with children in various activities, supporting their developmental needs, and ensuring their well-being while promoting positive social interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with special education practices or experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Time management abilities to ensure timely completion of daily responsibilities.
  • Leadership qualities to guide children in group settings and foster teamwork among peers.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Previous classroom experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
  • Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each child.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages social interaction and emotional growth.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff regarding children’s progress and any concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for all children.
  • Assist children with daily routines such as meals, naps, and personal hygiene.
  • Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure consistent care and support for all children.
  • Document children’s progress and maintain accurate records as required.
