HOURLY RATE: NEGOTIABLE
We are looking for a dynamic, caring and self-motivated AMI/MACTE accredited Montessori early childhood educator, who is seeking a challenging position in a warm and professional environment. This ideal candidate has to be fluent in both English and Mandarin.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
· Hold an early childhood Montessori diploma/certificate from a MACTE/AMI accredited institute
· Have at least one year of working experience in a licensed childcare center and/or Montessori learning environment
· Registered by a provincial or territorial association for ECE, working knowledge about How Does Learning Happen/Emergent curriculum
· LANGUAGE SKILLS: FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND MANDARIN BOTH.
· Possess excellent behavior management skills, including problem-solving, positive reinforcement, and redirection strategies.
· Be innovative and creative, and have strong programming skills.
· Strong interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork.
· Show warmth and sincerity when working with children.
· Hold a valid Standard First Aid/CPR certificate
· A clear Health and Police Reference Check is mandatory prior to employment
· Adequate energy level and ability to meet the physical demands of the job. Job requires frequent lifting up to 20 lbs; bending, kneeling, crouching.
