OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RECE or Montessori Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the academic and personal growth of students. This role requires effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to engage with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Bilingual candidates, particularly those proficient in English and French, are encouraged to apply.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certified member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario (RECE) or Montessori Trained Teacher (MACT or AMI)
  • Experience or knowledge of the Montessori Method is encouraged.
  • Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Familiarity with special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to assist in classrooms with children ages 18 months to 2.5 years and 2.5 years to 6 years of age.
