JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Associate has a key role in ensuring that products are received, verified, stored, and transported to the sales floor or in the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves constant handling of merchandise that varies in weight from light to heavy throughout the shift.

REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS

• Previous warehouse /receiving experience
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Punctual and Dependable
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
• Certification in forklift and/or skyjack (scissor lift) (asset)

• Receive, scan, verify and stort all incoming products. Preparing displays, bases/ends of merchandise.
• Picking replenishment lists to re stock retail floor and Store overstock, locating all products as you go
• Ship returns, process damaged claims and complete paperwork.
• Ensure inventory accuracy.
• Dispose garbage and cardboard.
• Operate all warehouse equipment safely. Lifteing, using a step ladder, forlift training available, skyjack and reach lift.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
