• Safely unload incoming shipments from trucks or other transport vehicles, using forklifts or pallet jacks
• Inspect received materials for any damage, count discrepancies and identify quality issues
• Verify goods against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices
• Record received materials in the company’s ERP system or other designated software
• Transport and store materials to their designated locations, organizing racks and shelves for easy access
• Assist with inventory management by conducting cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation, and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Pull orders from inventory and deliver production materials and supplies where needed
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages
• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders
• Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies
• Document orders, materials and any stock movements
• Keep inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean
