Description
Description We are looking for a Full time Receiving Associate to Manage inbound goods by inspecting shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and logging data into inventory systems. Responsible for checking for damages, ensuring quality standards, labeling, and storing items in the warehouse. Help in the Lumber Yard when needed. This role requires high organization, attention to detail, and physical labor capabilities. Fork Lift experience is a Plus The Job is Daylight Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm Requirements Key Responsibilities Receiving & Inspection: Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage/discrepancies, and verify product quality, quantity, and temperature (if applicable) against purchase orders. Documentation & Data Entry: Review invoices, manifests, or shipping documents and record shipment data (e.g., shortages, damages) into inventory systems. Inventory Control: Label, sort, and organize inventory for storage, ensuring accurate tracking. Coordination: Communicate with carriers and internal departments to resolve shipping issues. Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area and ensure compliance with company and safety policies. Required Qualifications & Skills Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Math: Must have good Mathematic skills Attendance: Must have good attendance ethics Experience: Previous warehouse or receiving experience is preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy boxes, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive movements. Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math, computer literacy for inventory software, and ability to use scanning equipment. Machinery: Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
