Job Details Job Location: Azusa, CA Salary Range: $19.50 - $25.50 Salary/month Description ------ Position: Receiver and Receiver PT Job Duties: Properly record all products and enter invoices by department. Stamps, signs, and dates invoices. Inspect all deliveries to make sure matches the invoice, and note credits. Controls all UWG and DSD spoils with the Grocery Manager. Controls all store-to-store transfers (verify shipping and receiving transfers and outside vendors). Inspect the forklift before start and end of work shift. Ensure only authorized personnel operates the forklift. Maintain a clean loading dock, warehouse, and trash area. Place heavier pallets on the bottom and lighter pallets on top. Make sure product is easily accessible. Rotate all backroom inventory when new deliveries are made. Verify product quality and pricing as per Grocery Manager and Buyer. Inspect receiving gates to make sure they are in working condition. Check for graffiti or vandalism to property. Have vendors open their boxes to verify item count. Make sure gates are locked before you go home. Maintain the receiving hours. Log all invoices daily. Turn all invoices in to the Grocery Manager daily. Assist and participate with Company marketing promotional events and programs as needed And all other assigned job duties Qualifications Job Requirements: Must obey all State and Federal guidelines regarding health and safety policies. Wear clean complete uniform at all times: black pants, white Vallarta polo shirt or White button-down collar dress shirt with solid black tie, black non-slip shoes, and clean apron. Essential Job Duties: Lift boxes and product ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs Place boxes/product onto dolly or cart Push/pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs (items on cart/dolly) Bend/Stoop pick up and or place product below waist level (including shelves and racks) Place product onto shelves and position for sale Grasp/Grip product to prepare for sales by either placing or cleaning product Keep work area clean Reaching above shoulder level (product on shelving/racks ) Place debris/trash/recycle cardboard in respective areas Climb ladders to retrieve or place product on top shelf

Responsibilities

The Receiver is responsible for recording products, inspecting deliveries, and managing inventory. Additional duties include maintaining a clean work area and assisting with promotional events.
