Job Details Job Location: ADC Blairsville - Blairsville, GA 30512 Job Shift: 1st Shift Job Summary: The Receiving Clerk/ Material Handler is responsible for managing incoming shipments, bringing needed material to the production floor, verifying the accuracy of deliveries, inspecting goods for damage, and ensuring proper documentation. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Record and document all received goods in the inventory system. Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged items to the appropriate department. Label and organize received items for storage or distribution. Communicate with internal departments regarding delivery issues. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area. Facilitate accurate inventory counts and audits as needed. Weigh, adjust, and return all partial and unused items back into warehouse and inventory system. Bring all Items to production floor (conductor, compounds, reels) as needed to meet production needs. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely (if certified). Follow company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role preferred. Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 75lbs.) Good communication and teamwork skills. Forklift certification (if applicable). Working Conditions: Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures. Standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods May require overtime or weekend shifts depending on operational needs.
