REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse leadership.
• Proficient in UPS, FedEx, USPS systems and LTL freight quoting & coordination.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including inventory management and BOMs.
• Forklift certification (or prior certified experience with sit-down and order pickers).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Shipping & Receiving Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a dedicated team, and ensure timely and accurate shipment and receipt of goods. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in freight logistics and inventory systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support the shipping & receiving team, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Oversee and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments using UPS, FedEx, USPS, and LTL freight carriers.
• Manage inventory through bin locations, routings, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Conduct regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Operate and supervise use of sit-down forklifts and order pickers; maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols.
• Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to meet performance goals.
