Description Job Title Receiving Clerk Department Shipping and Receiving Managing the flow of materials in and out the company’s warehouse or facility Using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment move and/or to load and unload trucks Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock Accepting deliveries, inspecting items for damage or discrepancies, and verifying quantities against packing slips or purchase orders Organizing and placing received materials in designated storage areas, ensuring proper labelling and inventory accuracy Preparing items for shipment, including packaging, labelling, and creating shipping documents. Creating and maintaining shipping and receiving documents, ensuring proper recordkeeping Requirements Required: Certification or 2 + years' experience in operating a forklift Proficiency in using computers, scanners, and other technology for inventory management Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift 50lbs Ability to stand for at least 8 hours Knowledge in use of basic hand tools Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Ability to multi-task, work independently with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions Attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills Ability to work well with a team High school diploma or G.E.D
