We are currently seeking a full time Receiving Associate for our West Jordan, UT Location. We are looking for an experienced Receiving Associate to receive, sort, inspect and process returned equipment for credit or exchange. This position will also inspect our shipments from vendors for accuracy, shelve items, & sign for all deliveries. The Receiving Clerk must have an exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, strong computer skills, and basic math skills. They must also be able to unload shipments with or without accommodation as well as the clerical skills to update records and follow up with suppliers. Requirements Successful candidates should be able to do the following: • Follow Inventory control and receiving procedures. • Inspect items delivered and identify concerns on the packing tickets. • Plan, organize, and prioritize workload effectively • Lift objects up to 50 lbs. on multiple occasions daily, with or without accommodation • Work well with others • Perform light cleaning and assist with prep work • Be on feet most of the day and be able to handle physical labor for extended periods of time, with or without accommodation • Be willing to take on additional tasks as assigned. • Work independently Successful candidates should possess or be: • Positive attitude • Strong problem-solving skills • Strong computer skills • Self-motivated, hardworking and dependable • Reliable (attendance, punctuality, meeting deadlines) Education and experience: • High School Diploma or equivalent • 1-2 years’ experience in receiving preferred • Able to do simple math • Forklift certified preferred, willing to get forklift certified required • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel • Experience with SAP preferred • Experience with processes and programs used for shipping orders (FedEx, UPS, LTL) is preferred. Responsibilities
