Description RECEIVING CLERK ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Ability to maintain total control of the receiving process to include following established receiving policies and procedures. Verifies count, cost, and quality of incoming merchandise. Follows established guidelines for completion of all required forms, records, reports and verify receipts. Authorizes the entry of vendors through the back of the store. Operates computers and related equipment. Follows detailed instructions to operate equipment Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS: Can perform basic math Performs all job functions at an acceptable level of speed and accuracy. Performs all job functions with limited supervision. Ability to operate cashier equipment/systems Opens and closes industrial type doors. Ability to lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds Other duties as assigned. JOB STANDARDS / REQUIREMENTS: Follows dress code. Follows established safety policies and procedures. Ability to work well with others. Ability to legibly write or print Ability to speak English fluently. Eyesight corrected to 20/20 Hearing corrected to normal range.
