Description Job Summary Responsible for overseeing the daily activities in the Receiving Department. Maintain inventory that consistently meets the production schedule on a daily basis. Essential Functions Receive and inspect inbound materials delivered to M1, M2 or M3 location. Enter receipts into the system and place received goods into designated locations. Deliver on a daily basis receiving slips to the Lab and/or Accounts Payable. Physically transfer materials from one MISCO building to another. Utilize a handheld scanner to ensure material is digitally transferred into the correct location. Sign for delivered UPS or Fed Ex items and deliver to addressee the same day. Ensure all items needed for production are at the proper warehouse locations. Keep receiving area, warehouse, and raw materials area clean and neat at all times. Advise Procurement Supervisor of any inventory discrepancies immediately. Manage and delegate any responsibilities as it relates to daily receiving and organizational tasks. Work with team to identify and solve problems within the operation to ensure continuous improvement Additional Responsibilities Maintain 3S standards throughout all Receiving areas. Assist with warehouse planning and improvement projects. Support Shipping and Production departments as needed. Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested. Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Good computer skills Must be able and certified to operate material handling equipment (box truck, forklift, pallet jack) Must have a valid driver’s license Must be able to tolerate fluctuations in temperature. Ability to effectively utilize RiteScan and SysPro Effective communication skills Attention to detail Knowledge of OSHA regulations Ability to plan ahead Organizational skills Reading comprehension skills Education and Experience High School diploma preferred Prior experience in shipping/receiving and production preferred Physical Demands Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis Must be able to bend repetitively Ability to handle, stack, and move cases and drums on a regular basis Must be able to work overtime Ability to stand for extended periods; up to 7½ hours per day, plus overtime Ability to sit for extended periods; up to 7 ½ hours per day, plus overtime
Responsibilities
Oversee daily receiving activities, including inspecting inbound materials and ensuring inventory meets production schedules. Manage the digital transfer of goods using scanners and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.
