Reporting to the Distribution Centre Operations Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day Distribution Centre operations and leadership. As a member of the site leadership team, you will act as a driver of Bunnings' strong safety and customer-centric culture. You will liaise directly with our stores and other leaders in the warehouse to ensure we deliver the best experience. What's involved Lead, coach, mentor and train a team of direct and indirect reports, offering genuine care and living the Bunnings values Forecast and roster the team (including labour hire) efficiently and effectively, managing wages and P&L reports Drive sites KPI’s, ensuring delivery in full, on time (DIFOT) and supply in full, on time (SIFOT) metrics are communicated and monitored Drive safety performance within the Distribution Centre, including reporting and investigating injuries and incidents Support and collaborate with the Distribution Centre leadership team and build strong relationships with your team and stakeholders Who we’re looking for You will bring experience across warehousing, distribution and logistics management. Your open commutation style and strong interpersonal skills will support you to building excellent relationships with both stakeholders and your team. You will be passionate about building a culture-based work environment with a strong commitment to excellent customer service. You’ll need: Previous people leadership experience within a Distribution Centre or warehouse, ideally within the receipting function Experience in inventory control within warehousing, such as cycle counting and receipting A strong focus on driving safety culture Previous experience in managing rosters and salaries & wages is desirable Ability to coach and develop others, providing feedback and getting the best out of the team Experience with container unpacking and TEU knowledge would be highly regarded Ability to work day shifts across Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work being required You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
