JOB SUMMARY:

Verify that services, material, parts and components purchased by Petersen meet purchase order requirements. Verify that all required documentation is complete and accurate

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Good communication skills. Works directly with purchasing agents, vendors and customers.
  • Must be a team player and be able to effectively interrelate with production personnel.
  • Maintain safe environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High School Education

  • Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others
  • Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all of the employer’s safety policies and rules and must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.
Responsibilities
  • Print purchase orders from computer
  • Ability to research purchase order, code, standard and specification requirements and verify that received goods are in compliance.
  • Set-up and maintain complete, neat, and accurate receiving logs
  • Ability to verify that required material test reports, certifications, and other supplied documentation meets purchase order, code, standard and specification requirements
  • Must be able to lift to 49 pounds
