Come be a part of something exceptional at RTC Aerospace!  How You’ll Make an Impact  The QA Receiving Inspector will have knowledge of aerospace inspection techniques, industry and customer specifications, and a dedication to being part of a world class manufacturing team.   What you’ll be doing as a Receiving Inspector: * Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Fife, WA location. * Responsible for inspection of received-in parts, material, consumables and other goods. * Review incoming shipment documents and verify quantity and other identifying information against the shipping paperwork, purchase order requirements. * Determine and record part shortages. * Understand and interpret supplier certifications and test documents. * Conduct conventional inspection to engineering requirements using height gages, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, and other standard inspection methods. * Examine manufacturing plans, engineering documents and drawings to determine product requirements per ASME Y14.5 specification. * Follow inspection staging requirements. * Accept and document received-in material, standards, and parts. * Ensure documents are kept up to date. * Complete all daily record keeping requirements. * Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines, policies, and laws mandated by the company, local, state, and federal authorities. * Understand and adhere to an AS9100 Quality System * Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications (Education, skills, and experience): * Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize activities within an environment of fast-paced periods of competing deadlines and fluctuating workload * Able to work off shifts with little or no supervision * Team player with a can-do attitude Preferred Qualifications (Education, skills, and experience): * A minimum of one year of experience as a QA Inspector in the aerospace industry * Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, standards and specifications  * Knowledge of inspection techniques, measuring tools, and trigonometry * Proficiency with Microsoft applications and MRP systems Physical Demands: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of this job. The environment may also include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vapor from coolant, etc. Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required.   Compensation and Benefits:    Employee Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, long-term disability and 401(k) with up to 6% QACA company match.  The Receiving Inspector Compensation range for onsite Washington applicants is $20/hr-$23/hr commensurate with experience. Some shifts may include shift differential pay rates. Other site ranges may differ.
