Job Title: Receiving Lead Job Function: Receiving / Warehouse Location: Newark, CA Reports To: Logistics Supervisor Job Overview:  The Receiving Lead ensures accurate receipt, verification, and storage of all incoming materials while maintaining compliance with company SOPs, ESD protocols, and quality standards. This role also supports process improvement initiatives, provides guidance to junior team members, and ensures timely reporting and documentation of all materials received. Primary Responsibilities: Perform receiving physical tasks 1.    Load and unload and sign for incoming deliveries 2.    Put away material and maintain inventory locator and traceability systems 3.    Move material with use of carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklift 4.    Maintain order within the receiving area with the proper disposition of goods and paperwork 5.    On occasion, drive company vehicle to pick up or deliver parts Perform receiving administrative tasks 1.    Process inbound receipts to stockroom or designated storage locations using Oracle database 2.    Accept deliveries and note damage and discrepancies 3.    Verify part number and quantities against the packing slip 4.    Examine and verify labeling on boxes 5.    Verify completeness against shipping documents and purchase orders 6.    Consistently apply all standard operating procedures, as well as ESD and manufacturing requirements for parts quality Assist with shipping and kitting as requested Provide team support 1.    Demonstrate work methods to new hires 2.    Share best practices, assist in minor troubleshooting 3.    Actively participate in cross-training Provide team leadership  1.    Lead the work of the cell, 2.    Act as cell lead, delegating routine tasks to team members Key Tools and Technology: 1.    MIS/MRP/ERP systems (Oracle) 2.    Barcode scanner and label printing equipment, 3.    Carts, pallet jacks and forklift 4.    Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) 5.    Smocks and ESD shoe straps 6.    Material handling and preservation equipment; vacuum sealer, vacuum pens, scale counter, tape/reel counter, barcode scanner, ESD/MSL packaging 7.    Data load software (inventory field population) Required Education and Experience: 1.    High school diploma or GED 2.    Minimum one year of related experience and/or training Work Context and Conditions: 1.    Indoors, environmentally controlled and secured 2.    Highly structured work environment 3.    Daily use of telephone, email and face-to-face communication with warehouse team 4.    Importance of being accurate regarding cycle count, shipping information and data entry 5.    Moderate time pressure required to enter data daily 6.    Team work 7.    Completer-finisher role 8.    High security and safety standards
